Featherton Family - Chapter 7

Sarah, still was trying to have a daughter. She was happy with her two sons, but like any normal woman, she wanted a little girl, and time was seriously running out for her. Tony had grown into a cute toddler.



Sarah tried to potty train him when she wasnt at work, although he at first a little frightened of this "thing" that had a hole in it. But soon he got used to it and didnt mind sitting there kicking his little feet and patting the side of the potty.!






Grandad Richard 4 and his grandson Richard 6 spent a lot of time together when he came home from school everyday. His grandfather was also very willing to help with the homework. Sarah was worried about the fact that her father-in-law was spending a lot of time with Little Richard and not paying much attention to his other grandson, Tony. She sometimes took over helping Richard 6 with his school work.









Sarah discussed trying for another baby with her husband, Richard 5. He felt they were really getting old now, but said that they could try one more time. If she didnt fall pregnant this time, then he wasnt going to try again. He had two sons and that would keep the blood line very stable.






A couple of days later, Richard 5 felt like he was in a spiralling wheel again. Sarah was moody and he remembered the last time she was so argumentative, she was pregnant. He tried to ask her if she was ill, or if perhaps she was pregnant again..but she was too angry and said : "Do I LOOK like I am SICK, Richard..? Dont make me mad this morning, I am NOT feeling well.."







Poor Richard 5, he will have to wait and see if Sarah is pregnant again or not.

Featherton Legacy - Chapter 6

Richard 6 was growing up fast. The only problem was he demanded attention at all times, and his grandparents, Richard 4 and Sophie were only too glad to spend time with the little guy.










Granddad Richard helped with the potty training and even kept an eye on the little one while he was playing.







Sarah, was very pregnant, and certainly not herself with this pregnancy. She continually set the stove on fire every evening with her cooking skills, and hubby Richard 5 wasnt too impressed. But she was so sensitive these days, he tried to be understanding. He knew she wasnt herself.




She still found time to spend with her young son, Richard 6, but in the evenings her father-in-law and hubby took care of him.







And the day arrived of the birth. Sarah gave birth to another son. She was terribly dissapointed, as she so wanted a girl. She named him Tony.




Richard 5 was very worried about his wife. So as soon as the baby and Sarah were asleep he went outside to talk to his dad."My son," said his father, "You mustnt worry about Sarah. Give yoiurselves some time. You know, your mother and I had your 4 sisters before we had you, and then your little brother, Ryno arrived after you too. So just be patient with her and give it time. She may yet have that little girl she so longs for."





The next day Richard 6 went to get little Richard out of his crib, when Sarah came up to him quietly to show him his new grandson, Tony. She had a sad look on her face, but he didnt say anything. She needed time.




Then little Richard celebrated his birthday. He didnt have a party, but he wasnt too concerned.




And then one morning there was a headline in the local newspapers.
[i]Two young adults die in freak fire accident in residence at Sim State University. The onechild that died was the son of the well known [b]branch of the Featherton family, Stephen and Margaret Featherton. [/b]Neil was in his Freshman year with his twin sister Nancy. They are the [b]cousins of Richard 5 Featherton[/b]. Nancy is in hospital being treated for minor burns and smoke inhalation. She desperately tried to save her brother but to no avail. [/i]







This is the last photo taken of Neil, just before he and his twin sister, Nancy went off to uni.

The Featherton Family - Chapter 6

Things in the Featherton home were not anything like the previous ancestors. Sarah got on very well with her mother-in-law, Sophie. And Sophie of course was quieter and more reserved now that she was approaching her retirement. She and Richard IV were now happy after Sophie indiscretion with their previous maid!




And of course, because of the tradition brought down through the generations, the current grandparents were ecstatic that the firstborn son of Richard V was a son!




Sophie and Richard IV also retired and Sophie of course didnt even look liked she had aged!







And baby Richard VI was well loved by his granny too!




Richard VI soon became a toddler. His mother, Sarah wants to now have another baby. She
would like a daughter, but Richard V doesnt even want to hear about it. Sarah is very upset about it. How is she going to make him understand that just because he has his heir, doesnt mean that she cannot have a big family. She is a family girl! She doesnt know what to do! It certainly is putting a strain on their relationship!

The Featherton Family - Chapter 5

The twins were very close. They had to be, since their parents were always fighting with each other. Although, Sophie was really working hard to regain the trust of her husband, Richard IV again. She was determined to get her life back on track again! But in the meanwhile, she had to prepare the twins for university when they eventually grew up. She didnt want them to kick against everything like, their Aunty Rochee did! (Their fathers sister!)




They were remarkable teenagers and were very pleased that they could go to University. Richard 5 especially was looking forward to it. He had been bringing young girls home from school these days!




They both graduated quite well. They both fell in love with someone on campus and eventually there was another wedding. Richard IV and Sophie decided to make it a double wedding. Rhinette was also their only daughter and they didnt want to spare any expense.

Sarah didnt have a problem producing a heir for her husband, Richard V. Her pregnancy was easy, and not full of stress like her predecessors. Here is Richard VI!

The Featherton Family - Chapter 4

Richard IV and two of his sisters, Rhaine and Ruby went to University. For some reason Rachel wasnt interested, and Rochee was just plain rebellious and went against everything her parents asked of her.
It was at University, once again, that a Featherton Heir found their future wives! And Richard IV was no different. The only problem with him was, that he was so smitten, he spent more time with her than in his studies. She was a gorgeous blonde, and her name was Sophie.
When he returned home after graduation, his father gave them a beautiful wedding. And Sophie made a beautiful bride. Lets hope she will make some beautiful children for the Feathertons!



Sophie had twins. A boy and a girl. They were named, Richard V and Rhinette.




But through all the excitement of new babies, Richard III was mourning the loss of his beloved wife, Holly.



And through it all he derived such peace, happiness and comfort when he held his grandson, Richard V in his arms. He was often seen sneaking into the nursery to see if the baby was awake!




Richard IV and his wife Sophie started having a lot of problems soon after Richard III died. She innocently flirted with the male maid and of course this caused an uproar and instability in their lives. So when she realised she was pregnant again, everyone thought it was going to be the maids. However, it wasnt. She had another son, Ryno.




The twins, Richard V and Rhinette had now grown into children as well.







Soon they would be teenagers and heading off to college like their parents, and grandparents, and great grandparents...

Richard V in Chapter 5

The Featherton Family Chapter 3

Richard III and his twin sister Esmerelda went to university and returned to their ancestral home. Esmerelda of course, had met her future husband Leo Dalton and planned to move into his home with him. Richard III, however had met and got engaged to Holly while at university.

One evening, Esmerelda spoke to her mother about her return from university and the agreement with grandfather Richard II, that she could leave on return of graduation.
"Esmerelda, as soon as your brother has got married you can leave. I still need you here around the house to help me with the preparations!"




Then Richard III and Holly got married. Holly wasnt too sure about this union. She didnt like the idea of being tied down to one man, but she seemed to be caught up with the Featherton History and influences on outsiders.




It didnt take too long before Holly was bent over double at the toilet. There was a new heir on the horison! She was hoping it would be a boy, and then she could get her life together again!




Richard II and Nicole eventually retired.




Richard III and Holly had 5 children. Poor Holly was pregnant with 4 girls before she gave birth to a son, Richard IV. These pictures are of the children as teens.
She first had Rachel.



Then Rochee made an appearance. But she was a real problem child!




The beautiful Rhaine was their third child.




And then Ruby surprised the family. She was the first child to be born with blonde hair! All the sisters together.




Richard IV eventually arrived, and his mother, Holly could breathe again. She had produced the heir!
Poor Richard IV, of course always had his older sisters trying to bully him, especially Rochee. She always had an attitude problem with everyone!
